South Korean residents of Hwaesong City are incensed over a popular anime figure depicting a woman wearing a skintight dress with a plunging neckline.
The figure, which has been called Dongtan Missy is allegedly based on a social stereotype of women from that neighborhood. The figure is based on the artwork of K Pring and features a character with seductive narrow eyes and wearing a facemask.
