DENVER — A 16-year-old male shot and injured two students before turning the gun on himself at Evergreen High School on Wednesday. According to Jefferson County sheriff’s spokeswoman Jacki Kelley, the shooter was “radicalized by some extremist network.”
The two victims remained in critical condition Thursday. The shooter, Desmond Holly, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the sheriff’s office.
Information on how Desmond was radicalized has not been provided at this time, but investigators say they found evidence of the radicalization in his home and on his phone.
