FOREVER YOUNG won the G1, $1 million Jocky Club Gold Cup at the recently reopened Belmont Park by a respectable 3 1/4 lengths, bringing his earnings to $32,313,590.
“Obviously we won this race, so of course, I’m 100% satisfied with that,” said Yoshito Yahagi, Forever Young’s trainer. “But Forever Young, performance-wise, I’m not happy. I was around 50% satisfied with how he performed today.”
