The Jockey Club announced Wednesday that it has changed the official name of a horse that won Sept. 21 as Austrian Painter after receiving a complaint that the name was offensive. The 2-year-old colt by Sleepy Eyes Todd out of Galileta, by Amira’s Prince, is now named Merrylegs.
