The media establishment and ruling class of the United States got what they wanted today: An assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, which thankfully failed. President Trump escaped with minor injuries after a sniper apparently opened fire on him. Details are sparse at the time of this writing but it appears that an innocent bystander was killed, along with the shooter, who was eliminated by the Secret Service.
And make no mistake. This is exactly what the media and governing class in the United States wanted. When you spend year after year churning out breathless, hysterical fear porn that Donald Trump is a fascist would-be dictator whose reelection would bring about the end of American Democracy, the outcome they are looking for is his death. A few years back we were treated to endless lectures that right-wingers such as Chaya Raichik of Libs of Tiktok fame were engaging is “stochastic terrorism” by highlighting leftist extremism. Well what we’ve been seeing from the left over the last few years has been stochastic terrorism on steroids.
Trump a fascist? Don’t make me laugh. The man was a New York liberal up until his first presidential campaign, when he adopted moderately right leaning populist positions on illegal immigration, abortion and other issues. He wants the abortion question returned to the states, and to end illegal immigration (while supporting legal immigration). A veritable reincarnation of the Austrian painter indeed.
Trump a racist? Would this be the same Trump who released black criminals and rappers from prison in a vain attempt to secure the black vote, while leaving Julian Assange to rot in prison for 4 more years?
Trump an antisemite? Would this be the same Trump whose daughter is married to Jared Kushner and who gave Jared a leading role in developing his Middle Eastern foreign policy, which ranks among the most pro-Zionist foreign policies of any American presidential administration in recent memory, marked by the Abraham Accords and the assassination of Qasem Soleimani?
And don’t forget the recent hysteria over Project 2025, a Heritage Foundation wish list consisting of mostly normie conservative policy positions that would have been uncontroversial 10 years ago, but now seem extreme only in light of the Left in the United States going utterly insane in the same time frame.
The reality is, Trump is no extremist, and neither is MAGA. I doubt that his movement can even stop the decline of America were he get into office again, rather than merely slow the pace of the decline to the speed limit.
The only extremists here are the far left fanatics that control the media, educational system and banking system, who control Joe Biden like a puppet on strings. The same far left that hates Trump and his supporters merely for trying to push the conservative movement in the United States to stop being such cucked-out pushovers. The same far left which thinks a border wall is akin to Nazism but think a little boy playing with dolls requires surgical correction.
And so they got what they wanted. The left’s hate campaign worked. Ignore their condemnations and denials. Their only regret is that Trump survived.
